About Nicole E Smolinski

Nicole is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in POP working with Dr. Almut Winterstein. She earned two bachelor’s degrees in child psychology and chemistry from the University of Minnesota in 2015. She then received her Pharm.D. from Midwestern University in 2019. Her research has focused on child and maternal health with a special interest in pediatric acute otitis media. Her dissertation focuses on acute otitis media, treatment preference, and the consequences of the overuse of antibiotics in this population.
