About Priyanka J Kulkarni
Priyanka is a third year PhD student in the department of POP. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the Institute of Chemical Technology (India) in 2017 followed by a Master’s degree in Public Health from Boston University in 2019 where she majored in Epidemiology & Biostatistics. Priyanka then went on to work in academia and the social impact sector performing systematic literature reviews, report writing and data analysis to evaluate public health outcomes. She has 3 years of experience conducting and supporting research and has worked at the University of Pennsylvania as a Data Coordinator on the CORONA (COvid-19 Registry of Off-Label and New Agents) Project to identify effective treatments for COVID-19. Her research interests are in hypertension, cardiovascular safety of drugs and comparative effectiveness.
